1. What Rhea Key does

Rhea Key helps users unlock access, approve trusted connections, and authenticate securely from their device. It uses local device security, encrypted session handling, biometric unlock where available, and cryptographic signing to reduce reliance on emails and passwords alone.

Rhea Key is not an advertising product and does not use personal information for advertising.

2. Information Rhea Key may process

Rhea Key may process limited technical information needed to provide secure access and authentication, including:

  • access identifiers used to recognize a Rhea Key profile or device-based access setup;
  • authentication and session information needed to create and manage secure sessions;
  • connection approval data when a user approves or rejects a trusted connection;
  • security and technical logs used for abuse prevention, troubleshooting, reliability, and system integrity;
  • device-based security signals required for unlock, biometric authentication, and protected access flows.

Rhea Key is designed to collect only the information needed to operate secure authentication and connection approval.

3. Camera permission

Rhea Key may request access to the device camera only for QR code scanning.

The camera is used to scan QR codes for connection approval and authentication flows. Rhea Key does not record, store, or upload camera images or video. Camera access is used only while the user is actively using a QR scanning feature.

4. Biometric authentication

Rhea Key may use biometric unlock where supported by the user's device.

Biometric checks are handled by the device operating system. Rhea Key does not receive, store, or transmit fingerprints, face scans, or biometric templates.

5. Cryptographic signing and secure access

Rhea Key uses cryptographic signing, encrypted session handling, local device security, and secure unlock flows to help users authenticate and approve trusted connections.

Private authentication material is intended to remain protected by the user's device security mechanisms. Rhea Key is designed so authentication does not rely only on emails and passwords.

6. How information is used

Information processed by Rhea Key is used to:

  • unlock and authenticate secure access;
  • approve or reject trusted connection requests;
  • create and maintain secure sessions;
  • protect against unauthorized access, abuse, replay attempts, and misuse;
  • improve app reliability, security, and troubleshooting.

7. Sharing of information

Rhea Key does not sell personal information.

Rhea Key may share limited technical information only with service providers necessary to operate the app and backend infrastructure, including secure hosting, database, authentication, and service reliability providers.

Information may also be disclosed if required by law or if necessary to protect the rights, security, or integrity of Rhea Key, Rhea Holdings SRL, users, or others.

8. Data security

Rhea Key uses security measures designed to protect authentication and session data, including encrypted session handling, device-based security, cryptographic signing, access controls, and backend security controls.

No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but Rhea Key is designed to minimize unnecessary data collection and reduce reliance on passwords alone.

9. Data retention

Rhea Key keeps information only for as long as needed to provide authentication, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, comply with legal obligations, or protect against abuse.

Security logs and session-related records may be retained for a limited period where necessary for fraud prevention, auditability, debugging, and system integrity.

10. Resetting Rhea Key

Rhea Key does not operate like a traditional email-and-password account system. Users may reset their Rhea Key setup from the app or device where supported.

Resetting Rhea Key may remove local device data, trusted connection state, and access setup from the device. Some limited backend security records may remain for fraud prevention, auditability, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or system integrity.

For reset or privacy support, contact: contact@rhea.llc

11. Children

Rhea Key is not intended for children and is not directed to users under the age required by applicable law to use secure authentication and access services.

12. International processing

Information may be processed in countries where Rhea Key, Rhea Holdings SRL, or its service providers operate. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international data processing.

Last updated: May 13, 2026

Rhea Key is a secure access app for login, connection approval, and device-based authentication.

Rhea Key does not operate like a traditional email-and-password account system. Instead, it is designed around device-based access, secure unlock, encrypted session handling, biometric unlock where available, and cryptographic signing.

This page explains how reset and data handling work for Rhea Key.

1. Resetting Rhea Key

Users may reset their Rhea Key setup from the app or device where supported.

A reset may remove local device data, trusted connection state, access setup, and locally stored authentication/session information from the device.

After a reset, the user may need to set up Rhea Key again before using secure access or connection approval features.

2. Local device data

Rhea Key may store protected local data on the user's device to support secure unlock, connection approval, and authentication.

This local data is intended to remain protected by device security mechanisms such as operating system security, biometric unlock where available, and encrypted storage/session handling.

Resetting the app, clearing app data, uninstalling the app, or using an in-app reset feature may remove local Rhea Key data from the device.

3. Camera use

Rhea Key may request camera access only for QR code scanning.

Camera access is used to scan QR codes for connection approval and authentication flows. Rhea Key does not record, store, or upload camera images or video.

4. Biometric unlock

Rhea Key may use biometric unlock where supported by the user's device.

Biometric verification is handled by the device operating system. Rhea Key does not receive, store, or transmit fingerprints, face scans, or biometric templates.

5. Backend security records

Some limited backend records may be processed to support authentication, secure sessions, connection approval, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, auditability, and system integrity.

These records may include technical identifiers, session-related records, security logs, and connection approval events.

6. Data retention after reset

A reset may remove local device data and access setup, but some limited backend records may be retained where necessary for:

  • security and abuse prevention;
  • fraud prevention;
  • auditability;
  • legal compliance;
  • troubleshooting;
  • system integrity;
  • dispute resolution or protection of the service.

7. Support requests

For reset support, privacy questions, or data-related requests, contact: contact@rhea.llc

Please include enough information for Rhea Holdings SRL to understand the request, such as the relevant Rhea Key profile/access identifier or other information needed to locate the relevant records.

8. Changes to this page

Rhea ID Reference in Rhea Key

Last updated: May 13, 2026

Rhea Key may allow a user to import or attach a Rhea ID reference.

Rhea ID is created separately from Rhea Key. Rhea Key does not create, read, verify, store, or process the private identity data connected to a Rhea ID.

When a user imports a Rhea ID reference into Rhea Key, the app may store limited reference information, such as a contract reference and asset ID, so the app can show that a Rhea ID has been linked.

This reference is used only for display, access context, and user-controlled identity-linking inside the Rhea experience.

Rhea Key does not access the underlying private Rhea ID data.

Rhea Key does not use the Rhea ID reference for advertising, tracking, profiling, or selling personal information.

If a user resets Rhea Key, clears app data, or removes the imported reference where supported, the locally stored Rhea ID reference may be removed from the device.
